Coronavirus Tips you can Use Now
With the spread of Coronavirus in Charleston, life has become very different for the people on a day-to-day basis. This has led to unease and uncertainty that can’t be ignored. However, everyone can still do their part to limit the spread of coronavirus in Charleston by staying informed and following the tips recommended by the CDC and the World Health Organization (WHO), which include but aren’t limited to:
- Wash often: Frequent washing of your hands is a great way to stay protected. While using soap and water, be sure to follow the CDC recommendation of a minimum of 20 seconds at a time. Wash your hands longer if you’ve been in public.
- Sanitizer is a valid option: When washing your hands just isn’t an option, it’s time to break out the sanitizer. To have the best chances of preventing coronavirus, you need sanitizer that’s at least 60% alcohol.
- Maintain self-isolation: Everyone in Charleston needs to do this according to the latest rules. It doesn’t stop this tip from being important though. Stay home as much as you can and maintain a distance of six feet from everyone else when out in public.
- Clean the home: Home cleaning is vital to staying healthy right now. Be sure to sanitize and disinfect the home often. When in doubt, follow the sanitization protocol established by the World Health Organization.
